Missy
Missy Koch was an athlete her whole life. When she was a senior at the University of Miami she was diagnosed with cancer. Desmoid fibersarcoma, an extremely rare insidious tumor that arises in the limbs of physically active people. The only cure was amputation. Bill Frakes, then a photographer at the Miami Herald, was a friend of Missy's and the two decided he would follow her the entire year and document everything she went through. That was 25 years ago. Missy has been cancer free for over 20 years and has been married to her husband, Todd for 19. They have three adopted children, Abbey, Lukas and Joey and the family is living in Rome, Italy. Todd is writing a book on her life that is due to hit the shelves this fall. You can follow his work as a composer and their life as a family at his web site, www.toddbillingsley.com.

Ada and her daughter, Leany, are homeless and being helped by Covenant House in Orlando, Florida. Ada is 20 years old and was born in Cuba.She and her family came to America 10 years ago when her family won "el loto," which is literally the lottery. They put their names in a drawing for a visa and were chosen.

NASCAR fans are known as some of the craziest in all of sport. This is a look at NASCAR fans from Daytona, Florida, to Sonoma, California, and their devotion to their favorite drivers. For many of these fans the tradition of going to the races is more important than the races themselves. The excitement of cars racing past you at 200 mph is always enticing, but the real joy of the race comes from the other fans around you.

Six-man football was founded in Chester, Nebraska, for small towns across America who couldn't field a traditional, 11-man football team. Arthur, Nebraska, has a population of 145 and their high school has only 36 students, which is their largest student body in decades. Their six-man football team is one of the best in their region and for these kids football is life. The size of the team does not affect the amount of heart these players put in to the game.

Lady's First: 2009 Preakness Stakes
The Preakness Stakes is the second of three races in the Triple Crown Tournament. The 2009 stakes was special because jockey Calvin Borel, who won the 135th Kentucky Derby on Mine That Bird, decided to leave the Derby winner in favor of the filly Rachel Alexandra. His decision turned the focus off of Mine That Bird's Triple Crown bid and onto the boys vs. girl competition. Rachel Alexandra became the first filly to win the race since 1924.

Racing at the Daytona Motor Speedway isn't just for the likes of Jimmy Johnson and Jeff Gordon. Kids as young as 6 also compete in go-kart races in the infield at Daytona. Families travel across the nation to watch their kids race in wheel-to-wheel competition with other children their age. Racing isn't just a dream for some of these kids. Indy car superstar Danika Patrick got her start on a go-kart track.

Kona Skate Park
Kona Skate Park is located in Jacksonville, Florida, and is attended by local kids as well as professional skaters like Tony Hawk. Kona boasts the world's longest snake run and the world's first vert ramp. It is also the oldest continually operating skate park in the world. All ages gather at the park to skate, make friends and show-off their skills.

The Florida A&M Marching Band, or Marching 100, is one of the largest marching bands in the country with about 420 members. This band doesn't only march, however. They sing, dance, run and play their instruments all at the same time. They practice from between 30 and 40 hours per week as they perfect their precision and endurance. Being a member of the band is a badge of honor at the school located in Tallahassee, Fl.

The NCAA Final Four Tournament brings rival fans together in one place every year. The 2008 Final Four Tournament was held in San Antonio, Texas, and included the University of Kansas, the University of North Carolina, the University of California and the University of Memphis, four of the best college basketball teams of all time. For two days, the town was full of excitement, celebration and heart ache as the teams battled for the National Championship title.
